India’s win in the second test match over England has given a reason to smile to numerous Indian fans and now many of them are hoping to see Virat Kohli back in the squad as he had pulled out of the first two test matches citing personal reasons.
It is being said that Virat Kohli has pulled out of the first two test matches because his wife Anushka will be giving birth to their second baby soon and as of now, there is no clarity over Kohli’s return. Many former cricketers and reporters also want to know the status of Ishan Kishan’s availability as he is currently not in the scheme of things of the selectors despite the fact that there was a time when he was an integral part of the team.
Ishan Kishan asked the team management to give him break citing the reason of mental fatigue and when the head coach Rahul Dravid was asked a question about his return. The coach made it clear that he is in no mood to discuss much and he is going to explain things in the best possible manner.
Rahul Dravid said that Ishan Kishan asked for a break and they gave him a break. Dravid also made it clear that he didn’t say that before returning to the team, Ishan Kishan has to play domestic cricket, he said that he has to play some cricket.
Rahul Dravid further said that the management is in contact with Ishan Kishan and he is not ready now as he hasn’t started playing yet and the young cricketer will decide when he is ready.
The teams of India and England will play the third test match from 15 Feb at Rajkot, though there is no clarity regarding Virat Kohli yet one thing is sure that Ishan Kishan is not coming back in this series.
