From bringing real-life stories to the screen to exploring characters from completely different worlds, Vikrant Massey has several exciting roles on his wishlist. The National Award-winning actor has now revealed that he wants to portray legendary Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid and also play a musician who can sing and play an instrument.
Despite delivering several successful films and memorable performances across different genres, Vikrant Massey continues to look for new challenges as an actor. Speaking about his dream roles, he said he would love to play a sportsman, particularly Rahul Dravid. He also expressed his interest in portraying a talented musician who can sing and play an instrument.
Apart from acting, Vikrant Massey is also exploring the creative side of filmmaking through production. Speaking about his decision to venture into producing with Musafir Cafe, the actor explained that he initially wanted to find scripts that he could produce, even if he did not necessarily act in them. His aim was to move beyond acting responsibilities and become more involved in the complete creative process, especially script development.
Vikrant Massey also expressed confidence in the project even before filming began. He credited the depth of Sharanya’s writing for making him believe that they had a strong show in the making. He added that they worked well together as creative artists and shared the belief that sometimes a simpler approach can deliver the strongest results.
Given Vikrant Massey’s ability to portray real-life personalities convincingly, his interest in playing Rahul Dravid could excite fans who would love to see him take on another biographical role. Meanwhile, the actor is preparing for a challenging role in the upcoming biopic White, in which he will portray global spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
The film is being produced by Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures, Mahaveer Jain Films and Peacecraft Pictures. White will explore important aspects of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s life, including his teachings on peace and global harmony, his humanitarian work and his efforts towards conflict resolution. The film’s release date has not yet been announced. With this project, Vikrant Massey is set to take on another real-life personality, adding a new dimension to his already diverse acting career.
