Ramiz Raja Revealed What Annoyed Him The Most After Being Sacked From PCB & It’s Hilarious

A lot has happened in the Pakistan Cricket in the last few days as the current government of Pakistan changed the constitution of the Pakistan Cricket Board, sacked chairman Ramiz Raja and appointed Najam Sethi as the new PCB chairman. Soon after the sacking of Ramiz Raja, the former Pakistani cricketer Shaheed Afridi was appointed as the chief selector as he replaced Mohammad Wasim.

Not just this, some changes were made in the Pakistani squad as well, the most notable were – wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan was dropped and the former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed made a comeback after four years.

The former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed Ramiz Raja as the PCB chief in 2021 for 3 years but he got sacked just after 15 months of his tenure. Though for the first time, the Pakistani team got whitewashed in a test series during Ramiz Raja’s tenure but Pakistan managed to play the finals of the Asia Cup 2022 and the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in his tenure which is a big thing and not to forget to mention that the Pakistani cricket squad also defeated the Indian team couple of times in his tenure.

It’s a secret as to what happened behind the closed doors but Ramiz Raja who was maintaining silence till now has decided to talk about his sacking and he was absolutely annoyed and upset with the manner in which things took place recently.

On his YouTube channel, while answering the questions of his fans which were asked to him under #AskRamiz, Ramiz Raja openly slammed the Pakistani government for changing the constitution of PCB in order to appoint Najam Sethi and he expressed his displeasure over the fact that there is political interference in the Pakistani Cricket. Ramiz Raja further says that there is a way to do things and asks how such steps can be taken when the teams are coming to play in Pakistan. He goes on to say that he will certainly take up this matter on the international platforms where he is invited for lectures and speech.

Ramiz Raja further alleged that at 9 am in the morning, around 17 persons came in the office of the cricket board and they behaved as if the Federal Investigation Agency raided the office.

Ramiz was also not happy with the fact that he was not even allowed to take away his belongings from his office.
