“I Was Raped 43,200 Times” – The Story Of A Human Trafficking Survivor

Karla Jacinto says in an interview by CNN International that she was raped by 30 men daily for about 4 years, 7 days a week, 30 days a month, which becomes about 43,000 times in total. She highlights the scam of human trafficking in Mexico and The United States.

When she was about 12, she was trafficked by a trafficker on the name of candies by a fast car when she was waiting for some friends near a subway station in Mexico, a little boy having candies came up to her, telling her that there was a person who sent some candies to her as a gift and then the man started talking to her and then they exchanged phone numbers and then she wanted a car ride. She had a plan of a drive after a week. She was amazed to see a big car in front of her. The man was 22 years old about Karla was about 10 years younger than him. At the end of the ride, karla’s mother didn’t open the gate as she was a bit late for home. Few days later, he started to send her flowers, chocolates and started to love her. Then I Was told that he was a PIMP by someone else and then i had to do the positions as said by them for the customers and they gave me money for that says Karla.

Hell On Earth For Me

“I was then forced to have sex with customers, i was forced into prostitution”. She was taken into a large city of mexico where she had to do the same the whole day till the night. She was then sent to Hotels, motels, apartments.

And That One LUCKY Day

One day when she was working, Police came over and she was told that it was her “LUCKY DAY” as she was rescued by the Police including many other girls.

She Gave birth to a baby girl when she Was 15

Karla Jacinto was finally rescued in 2008 during an anti-trafficking operation in Mexico City.

She is now 23 years old. She has become an advocate against human trafficking, telling her story at conferences and public events.
