The ace designer is once again in news but this time, it’s for all wrong reasons. On Saturday, he slammed Indian women, especially younger generation, who don’t know how to drape a saree and prefer western clothes.

Here’s what he said at Harvard India Conference,

“I think, if you tell me that you do not know how to wear a saree, I would say shame on you. It’s a part of your culture, (you) need stand up for it.”

He made this remark while expressing his views over difficulties women encounter while wearing a saree. As per him, saree is the world’s most amazing outfit and folks from all corners of the planet love it.
