Sehwag Posts A Funny Meme Featuring UP CM Yogi To Praise Rishabh Pant’s Knock Against Aussies

Rishabh Pant, the young Indian cricketer, is certainly the man of the moment as he was declared the player of the moment in the fourth test match for playing a beautiful knock of 89 runs not out and ensuring that he remained there till his team did not win the match.

There is no denying the fact that he went through a rough phase during the IPL 2020 but he turned the tables completely upside down when he got the chance to play in the test series. In the third test match which was played at Sydney against Australia, Rishabh Pant played an important role in saving the test match by scoring 97 runs and in the Brisbane test, he made sure that India won the match and the series as well. He played well on the Australian tour of 2018-19 and this time also he made his presence felt as he was the highest run-scorer for the Indian side with 274 runs at an average of 68.50.

The social media networks were flooded with tweets praising the young Indian wicketkeeper-batsman and the former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag also applauded him for his superb performance. Viru also showed his wittiness by posting a meme which featured the UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath stating that Brisbane should be renamed as Pant Nagar.

Viru tweeted, “Kyun nahin, @RishabhPant17 This series win is the kind of victory which one doesn’t get to see in generations . Nothing else matters. Is jeet ki khushi saalon tak manayi jaani chahiye . 19 January Fateh . Jai Bharat”

After the victory, Rishabh Pant was also not able to hide his happiness but he didn’t forget to thank the management of team India for supporting him even when he was not playing well. He stated that it is certainly one of the biggest days of his life and like a dream which has turned true. Rishabh also told that the team was practicing hard after they lost the Adelaide test match in a humiliating manner. As per him, the management kept on telling him that he should believe in himself as he is a match winner and he just needs to go out and win.

Congratulations to team India for the historic victory!
