Shah Rukh Responds To The Appeal Of MNS & It’s Just Killing - RVCJ Media

Shah Rukh Khan Starrer “Dilwale” is all set to hit the theatres on 18th December and new controversies are being created and developed regularly by dragging the superstar’s name. First, Shah Rukh was criticized for saying that there is “growing intolerance” in the country and now Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has made an appeal to the public to boycott the next release of Shah Rukh. The reason that MNS is giving for their appeal is that Shah Rukh has done nothing to help the poor farmers of the state, despite the fact that he lives in Maharashtra and making a lot of money himself, this is what the appeal reads, “Farmers in Maharashtra, specially in Marathwada, are reeling under drought. Khan, who has been residing in the state and has made a lot of money, has not helped farmers in distress. When his help is needed, he isn’t forthcoming. We are not seeking a ban. We are only appealing people to boycott the film. SRK is taking Maharashtra for granted.”

During a promotional event of Dilwale, when Shah Rukh was asked to give his opinion on the appeal made by MNS, he responded with, “We have made a positive film, so I am sure that people will watch the film.” It seems as if the King Khan is not much bothered with this type of appeals but whether this type of appeals are really effective or not, we will come to know with the box office collection.
