India is a country of rituals, customs and traditions and Indians love to follow them with pure devotion. There are some rituals connected with cow, a holy animal which is given the status of mother by Hindus, it is being preached that not only the milk but the cow dung is also useful for human beings as it has medicinal properties.
There is a strange ritual followed in a small village Betul of Madhya Pradesh, India in which parents dip their kids in cow dung as they believe that it will being good luck for their kids.
The parents believe that the medicinal properties of cow dung will keep their kids healthy and disease free and as the cow dung is pure it will also shower good luck on the kids.
This ritual is followed a day after Diwali (festival of lights), which is the most celebrated and biggest festival of Hindus.
