Yes, a division bench of Justice V M Pancholi and Chief Justice R Subhash Reddy refused entertaining this PIL which sought the order of the court to suspend Sultan’s screening in Gujarat.

The court says that the petition is rejected since it doesn’t have any strong and valid base. Well, Aditya Raval, who filed this petition, is also a member of not-so-known party ‘Vishwa Hindustani Sangathan’.

Raval stated that this statement by Salman was an ‘irresponsible’ one and was an intentional one. He also alleged that since Salman enjoys a huge fan base, what he speaks has a great impact on masses.

Moreover, rape victims who need cooperation and sympathy of people become ‘psychologically depressed’ after hearing this statement.

This is definitely a lesson for those who just file cases unnecessarily! Hope people will learn from this. Do let us know what you feel in our comments section below!
