Sona Mohapatra Hits Out At Kartik Aaryan In Fiery Tweets For Allegedly Maligning Her Image

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is pretty active on social media and his online activities increased further after the lockdown was imposed by the Indian government in order to contain the coronavirus outbreak. He urged his fans and followers to stay at home and save themselves from the virus, in fact his monologue on corona which was on similar lines of the monologue that he did in the first part of the “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” series was liked a lot by fans and celebs alike.

However lately the “Luka Chuppi” actor found himself in the center of a controversy when he was slammed heavily for posting a video in which he was seen pulling hair of his sister and tossing her from the balcony after she prepared a dish which was not tasty. People slammed him for promoting domestic violence and one of those critics was Bollywood singer Sona Mohapatra. The singer claimed that the video is a slap on those females who are trapped inside the houses due to lockdown and are facing domestic violence.

After getting slammed, Kartik Aaryan deleted the video; however now Sona Mohapatra has criticised him again and this time, the singer is claiming that Kartik is using his PR agency for spreading negative stories about her in the media. As per her, Kartik wants to make people believe that she has been slammed by netizens for criticising him for the silly video. She further goes on to say that by posting a video in which his sister slapped him just proved his earlier video correct because stats are on the lower side when men get beaten by women.

Here is what Sona Mohapatra wrote in her first tweet, “Sad how u are now going around pushing ur PR ppl to put up headlines about how ‘all’ ‘netizens’ r ‘slamming’ me for having issue with ur ‘silly- dangerous’ video. I thought u realised ur folly @TheAaryanKartik ,were  genuine in your retraction when I 👏 that. MCP ego flared up?”

The singer’s second tweet read, “& dear all including the PR hungry @TheAaryanKartik, sister slapping him/u in a previous video doesn’t justify ur video either. This is India. What do the stats show? How many women thrash men at home vs the opposite? Which gender is likely to be more instigated towards violence?”

Let’s see how Kartik reacts to these tweets. What do you have to say about the whole matter? Let us know your views.
