Sourav Ganguly former Indian captain has finally reacted on the conflict of interest issue and said that he is not being paid for the advisory role of the Delhi Capitals.

Earlier in the season of IPL 2019, Dada was previously asked about the allegation put on him regarding the conflict of interest. Ganguly joined the advisory role for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2019 even while serving as the President of Cricket Association of Bengal.

Three complaints were lodged by Abhijeet Mukherjee, Bhaswati Santanu and Ranjit Seal after which the BCCI confronted Ganguly.

According to the reports of Times Of India, Sourav Ganguly addressed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Ethics Officer DK Jain and told he is not getting paid for being the President of Cricket Association of Committee ( CAC). So he shouldn’t be prohibited from continuing being the advisory role of Delhi Capitals in Indian Premier League.

The reports also claim that Ethic officers along with other BCCI legal experts are exploring if Ganguly’s interest could be treated as a possible conflict even though money is not involved in it.

Lately, Conflict of Interest has become a serious issue in the cricket fraternity. Committee of Administrators was appointed by the Supreme Court to run the BCCI has been strict regarding the conflict of interest.
