The Pakistani cricket team had a very poor run in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023 as it ended the tournament with just 4 wins in 9 matches because of which it failed in making it to the semi-finals. What is more surprising is the fact that before the tournament started, almost every cricket expert called Pakistan a strong contender for lifting the trophy and majority of them were sure that Babar Azam-led team will play the semi-finals.
Many former Pakistani cricketers are now upset and angry with the Pakistani team and the Pakistan Cricket Board and they are leaving no chance of slamming them.
Recently, some former Pakistani cricketers including Umar Gul, Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzaq attended an event in which they talked about the Pakistani team’s performance.
While speaking about the need of amending PCB’s intentions, Abdul Razzaq made a statement in which he gave a reference to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and this has certainly not gone well with big majority of online users. What has made people more upset is the fact that Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul are also laughing and clapping at such a stupid statement.

It seems that the huge uproar over this matter compelled Shahid Afridi to accept that whatever happened was wrong and at least on camera, he is saying that Abdul Razzaq should apologize. This has happened because Pakistani media is also not happy with the statement made by the former cricketer and in this video, you can hear how Shahid Afridi tried to control the damage and save himself.
