The initial bids came from LSG and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), quickly crossing ₹11 crore and then a fierce duel with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pushed the price to ₹20.75 crore. Delhi Capitals (DC) exercised their RTM card but were ultimately outbid when LSG raised their offer to ₹27 crore.
