“Tu Do Baar Kha Le,” Ravi Shastri Wishes Eid Mubarak To Shami & Siraj With A Hilarious Tweet

The holy festival of Eid was celebrated all over the world yesterday and many people took to social media handles to wish their known ones on this occasion.

Ravi Shastri, the former Indian cricketer and former head coach of the Indian cricket team, is currently enjoying his commentary stint in the IPL 2022 and just like others, he also wished his friends including two Indian cricketers Mohammad Shami and Mohammed Siraj on Eid. However, his style was quite funny as he addressed Shami and Siraj as double trouble. Both the Indian pacers are playing in the IPL 2022 for different franchises, while Mohammad Shami has been roped in by the new IPL team Gujarat Titans, Mohammed Siraj was retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auctions.

“Tu Do Baar Kha Le,” Ravi Shastri Wishes Eid Mubarak To Shami & Siraj With A Hilarious Tweet - RVCJ Media

While wishing Eid Mubarak, Ravi Shastri asked Shami to have biryani afterwards because his team had a match against Punjab Kings and then he told Siraj to have biryani two times.

Ravi Shastri took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter and wrote, “Eid Mubarak to my Double Trouble! @MdShami11, aaj game hai ! Biryani baad. Aar ya paar. @mdsirajofficial tu do baar kha leh”.

This is how Twitter reacted over Ravi Shastri’s tweet:

As far as the performance of both the bowlers is concerned, till now Siraj has scalped 8 wickets in the 10 matches that have been played by RCB and Shami has taken 15 wickets in the 10 matches which GT has played.

Mohammed Shami didn’t have a good time in yesterday’s match despite the fact that he started well by taking the wicket of Jonny Bairstow. But later in the match, Liam Livingstone smashed him for 3 sixes and 2 fours in the 16th over and Shami conceded total 28 runs in that over.

As far as the match is concerned, the toss was won by GT and it decided to bat first but the GT batters excluding Sai Sudarshan put up a very disappointing display and the whole team got out for just 143/8 in the 20 overs. Sai Sudarshan remained not out on the score of 65 (50 balls, 5 fours & 1 six).

PBKS achieved the target with 8 wickets in hand and 4 overs remaining in its innings. Though Jonny Bairstow got out on the score of 1, Shikhar Dhawan (62 runs not out, 53 balls, 8 fours & 1 six) and Bhanuka Rajapaksa (40 runs, 28 balls, 5 fours & 1 six) ensured that their team did not have any problem in chasing the target. Liam Livingstone played a quick innings of 30 runs not out (10 balls, 2 fours & 3 sixes) and finished the match for PBKS in the 16th over.

Shami’s team GT is at the top of the points table with 8 wins in 10 matches while Siraj’s team RCB is on the 6th spot with 5 wins in 10 matches.
