Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s company Patanjali is capturing the market at a very high speed and one of the reasons for this fast growth of Patanjali is the endorsement made by Baba himself. However, one advertisement of Patanjali’s beauty cream is going viral nowadays for all the wrong reasons. The ad is slamming modern girls as it shows that one of the two girls is having pimples on her face because she is a modern girl.

The ad talks about two sisters – Saundarya and Aishwarya. As per the ad, Saundarya is traditional girl and she uses products of Patanjali while Aishwarya is modern, up-to-date and uses other cosmetics brands.

The video further shows that Aishwarya has got pimples on her face and everybody is making fun of her and to hide them, Aishwarya takes help of makeup, while everybody adores the beauty of Saundarya and she gives Aishwarya Patanjali’s beauty cream.

This is not the first time that ads of Patanjali have created controversy. Earlier, a fine of Rs. 2.5 lakh has been imposed on the company which makes biscuits for Patanjali. In another ad, a holy cross which is the logo of East India Company was shown and it received resistance from the Christian community. Besides that, 67 complaints were received by the ad regulator in April 2016 regarding Patanjali’s Kachi Ghani oil.
