Anurag Kashyap’s “Manmarziyaan” starring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Although it couldn’t do great in terms of box-office collections, it did invite much criticism and a lot of controversies on its part.
The Sikh community raised an objection on three scenes of the movie; in two scenes, Sikhs were shown smoking cigarettes while in the third one, the bride was seen engrossed in the thoughts of her ex-boyfriend while coming out of Gurudwara. Post the deletion of these scenes, director Anurag Kashyap and actress Taapsee Pannu took to Twitter to express their wrath and fury.
Anurag Kashyap tweeted:
Before my tweet is taken down -Congratulations . Here by all problems of Punjab are solved and Sikh youth have been saved . Happy to be back in LaLa land again. Next time you are threatened by a film please call Kishore Lulla directly on Eros knows how to solve matters in minutes pic.twitter.com/4yqU3T9utK

There were many who tried to troll Taapsee but she is not the one to bear the brunt of trolling or hatred silently and she gave it back to them in the most sarcastic and savage way.
One of the Twitter users said that he would have beaten Taapsee with his belt and slippers if he was her father.
Here’s the tweet:
“I swear I wish I was her father, all I need is my belt and a jutti. Shittar mar mar ke I would of taken the actress vala bhoot out from her.”
The man deleted his tweet later after getting a befitting reply from the actress. Taapsee wrote,
“I already feel bad for your kids. God give them strength to live.”

Her co-actor Vicky Kaushal lashed out at the hater for such a disgusting tweet and wrote,
“Dharam da maan rakhna jaande ho, apni thee da nahi. Phaaji bohot maan rakh laya apne Guruaan da ehe gal karke 🙏” (You know how to respect religion, but you don’t know how to respect a daughter? You gave much respect to your Gurus by talking in this manner)

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor also slammed the user and tweeted,
“No religion allows violence. Nothing in this world justifies what this man has said. The more I read this the more it fuels anger towards this crass thought process. Who gives any man the authority to raise their hand on someone and make them decide what they should do or not do.”
