“Unreal Fitness,” Virat Kohli’s Swiftness & Fielding Effort During 1st ODI Left Twitter In Awe
The Indian cricket team continued its winning streak in the 3-match ODI series against Australia after winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy by 2-1 and it was certainly a team effort which led to a great start for team India.
Virat Kohli may have failed to make an impact with the bat but he still made waves on the social media platforms as netizens got awestruck because of his agility and super fielding effort. Virat is undoubtedly one of the fittest cricketers of the present times; he is an inspiration for youngsters and he was lauded by many for his marvelous fielding effort during the match.
The 11th over of the match was bowled by the stand-in skipper Hardik Pandya; he bowled a full delivery which was played towards the mid-wicket by the Aussie batter and both the Aussie batters ran fast as they sensed a possibility of a double. Virat Kohli who was fielding at the short-cover at that time ran fast, crossed the pitch and picked the ball even before the mid-wicket fielder could manage to pick the ball.
Many Indian cricket fans noticed the exceptional fielding effort of Virat Kohli and this is how people reacted:

Was at wankhede yesterday and this was brilliant by Kohli. His level of commitment is amazing. People saying anyway 2 runs hona hi tha. But the fielder in the deep was lazy enough to put in some effort so he tried on his own. These smaller things he does sets levels for everyone.

The Indian squad performed superbly in all the segments and overpowered the opposition in a comprehensive manner as first the Indian bowlers wrapped the Aussie batting line-up for just 188 runs in 35.4 overs and then the Indian batters successfully chased the target with 5 wickets in hand and almost 10 overs remaining in the Indian innings.
Ravindra Jadeja was adjudged as the Player of the Match as he took 2 wickets and also played a useful innings of 45 runs not out. KL Rahul also played a superb knock of 75 runs not out and ensured that his team won the match.
Virat Kohli has certainly become an epitome of fitness in the present day world. Do you agree?
