Gambhir had admitted this Level 1 offence of abuse of cricket clothing, cricket equipment, fixtures, ground equipment and fittings during the match. For level 1 breach, the decision of the Match Referee is binding and final.

Gambhir kicked a chair in a violent way after Suryakumar Yadav smashed a boundary. However, the commentators failed to understand as to why he was so angry when victory was on his side.

Regarding Kohli’s fine!

Talking about Kohli, the captain of RCB, fine was levied since a slow over-rate was maintained by the team during the IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders. This was the 2nd offence of this season under IPL’s Code of Conduct related to over-rate offences and hence a 24 lakh fine was levied. Rest of the team had to pay a 6 lakh fine each i.e. 25 percent of match fee.
