Team India smashed the Jamaican men with a historic win by 318 runs at the inaugural of the World’ Test Championship. In the first match Rohit Sharma and Ravichsndra Ashwin was benched.

Jadeja replaced Ashwin and definitely did his best to help the team take a place close to the victory. The Indian team captain Virat Kohli is well aware about the fact that India XI’s team selection will grab the attention of everyone and even spark a debate.

As Rohit Sharma was replaced by the young Hanuma Vihar. He did justice to his test debut and scored whopping 93 runs.

Amidst all the debate Kohli said the decision was not made by him, it’s a team decision and they select players keeping in mind with the best interests of the team.

Kohli further said, Vihari is selected because the combination is important. He’s an effective part-time bowler and helps us when we need to catch up with the over-rate.
