Kareena Kapoor Khan will start shooting for a movie “Veere Di Wedding” in April, just four months after becoming mother to a baby boy who has been named as Taimur. She says that she will easily make a balance between her profession and family as women are great in multi-tasking.
In her words,
“I have always balanced my work and my marriage. People thought that I wouldn’t, and I did. I am going to continue to do that. I think women know how to multi-task.”
She further added,
“Today, you see working women out there. If you have a family, if you have a child… It doesn’t mean you are home-bound. Of course, there is time for that and work.”
The 36-yr gorgeous actress was busy during her pregnancy period as well, in endorsements, fashion shows and other events as she says, “I am taking it each day as it comes. I think it’s the most beautiful phase of my life.”
Undoubtedly, she agrees that, “parenthood comes with a lot of responsibility” and “both Saif and I are ready for this kind of responsibility.”
Kareena walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), just after 45 days of giving birth to Taimur. She said,
“It’s not about proving a point. It was just something I wanted to do. It was something I believed in that I have nothing to hide. When I got married, it was the most beautiful phase. Pregnancy was the most normal thing that was going to happen and giving birth to a child is as normal as ever. I want life to go on.”
Kareena doesn’t want people to feel that she is doing something unusual as she says, “Because it isn’t. The only thing different is that we are just happy, we have an addition in our home.”
Kareena is presently working on her fitness as shooting starts from April and she will be sharing the screen with Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar. She told, “We are going to start the work in April,” and her aim for two months is, “to get into the best shape of my life and then start the film.”
She further added, “Right now the best thing in my kitty… I think the world knows.”
