SRK’s gangster themed movie “Raees” hit the screens along with the revenge drama “Kaabil” last week and this clash had already invited lots of speculations. Although the release of both the films offered a lot of variety to audience, it was a bad news for exhibitors, distributors and producers. We all are aware of the fact that if 2 flicks release together, profits are divided. Raees is leading the race, while Kaabil is trying hard to cope up with it and it is successful too. On the first 2 days, there was a significant difference in the collections, but on the 3rd day, the films inched closer.
Let’s have a look at what the Saturday collections have to say…
Kaabil collections!

On Saturday, numbers of this Hrithik & Yami Gautam movie were expected to increase significantly, but the movie showed just a 30 percent growth. On the 4th day, the movie minted 13.54 crores, thereby bringing the total to 52.41 crores. The figure is less, considering it was a holiday but is good when we consider that it just had 40 percent screens as compared to Raees which had 60 percent, isn’t it? The pace at which it is growing is worth an applaud.

Day 1- 10.43 crores
Day 2- 18.67 crores
Day 3- 9.77 crores
Day 4- 13.54 crores
Total- 52.41 crores

Even Raees has shown a 30 percent growth by minting 15.61 crores on Saturday. With this, the total now stands at 75.44 crores; it has already crossed the 75 crores club too. Now, we are eagerly waiting for the 100 crores club! When do you think will it enter that?

The competition has become intense and now anything can happen at any moment! Considering the growth percentage of Kaabil and its intensity, very soon the clash might be in favor of Hrithik, don’t you think so?
