Bollywood actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik has done a lot of work in the industry. He has directed many films and has shown his skills as an actor too. We all know him for playing some really iconic comedy characters in Bollywood films.
The interesting part is that Satish Kaushik has not faded away in all these years and is still continuing to work even at the age of 61.
The talented actor who was last seen in films like Udta Punjab and Dishoom is going strong and has great plans for future.
Satish Kaushik is quite aware of the fact that fitness is important to survive in the industry today. And that’s why he is now putting a lot of stress on staying healthy and fit. He in fact has reduced 25 kgs of weight recently transforming into quite a slimmer version of himself.
Due to the fitness Satish Kaushik has achieved, he has also attracted many offers recently out of which he has signed 6 films. These films include Shaad Ali’s Soorma, Ashu Trikha’s Veeray Ki Wedding, Yamla Pagla Deewana 3 starring Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby, and Vipul Shah’s Namastey England.
Talking about the experience and how he did it, Satish said that he managed to do this with the help of a doctor in Los Angeles named Christian Middelthon. Satish followed the diet prescribed by him which helped him lose all the flab. He said-
“I didn’t have a medical problem but even long walks at airports had become a problem and that would upset me. My energy levels had dipped after working without a break for 40 years. But today with the kind of films being made, you have to be fit to be seen in the same frame as GenX actors.”
