On 15th August, Satyameva Jayate and Gold clashed at the Box Office. Both the films earned good numbers on the first day, since it was a national holiday.
Unfortunately, the same numbers couldn’t continue on the 2nd day. The numbers dipped too much on Friday; we expected a slight dip, but the numbers fell much beyond the expected percentage.
While both the films got a total of 45 crores on day 1, they couldn’t even make 16 crores on the 2nd day.

Everyone was in the patriotic mood yesterday. The first day collections were 25 crores, but on the 2nd day, the numbers dropped to 8 crores. So, the 2 day total is just 33.25 crores.

On the first day, this John Abraham starrer gained a very good response. However, the collections dipped on Saturday. While the first day figure was 20.52 crores, the 2nd day figure is just 7.92 crores. The total is 28.44 crores.
Let’s see what the weekend business of both the films is like.
