Even after nearly three decades, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai continues to hold a special place in the hearts of Bollywood lovers. The film which released in 1998 wasn’t just a love story, it was an emotion that defined an entire generation.

Directed by a young Karan Johar in his debut, it brought together Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in a tale of friendship, heartbreak and rediscovered love. Its songs, dialogues and fashion became cultural milestones, turning the film into a timeless classic.

As the film completed 27 years, Karan Johar decided to celebrate the milestone by taking fans on a nostalgic journey through some unseen behind-the-scenes pictures. The filmmaker shared a series of candid shots from the sets, featuring Shah Rukh, Kajol, Rani and choreographer Farah Khan. The post captured the joy and camaraderie that defined the making of the movie. Along with the photos, Karan wrote, “27 years!!!
