Hosting a special #AskAmy session, the actor answered a wide range of questions and it quickly became clear that audiences are still deeply invested in her most iconic films. From questions about a possible Gadar 3 with Sunny Deol to curiosity around a Humraaz sequel more than two decades later, Ameesha didn’t shy away from addressing the big topics.
One of the most frequently asked questions was about Gadar 3 and whether fans would ever see Tara Singh and Sakina together again. Ameesha responded with confidence and excitement, hinting that if the film does happen, it would be mounted on a massive scale. She suggested that the reunion of Tara and Sakina would create an unprecedented response at the box office, with huge budgets, grand storytelling and record-breaking numbers. While she stopped short of confirming timelines, her optimism was enough to thrill fans.

Another fan asked if a sequel to Humraaz, the 2002 thriller starring Ameesha Patel, Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna, could ever be possible. Ameesha kept her answer open-ended, saying that cinema is full of surprises and anything can happen with the right vision. She playfully hinted that if a sequel were made, it would combine the intensity of recent blockbuster storytelling with the suspense that made the original film memorable.

The excitement around Gadar is hardly surprising. Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, which released on August 11, 2023, marked Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol’s reunion after 22 years and went on to become a massive commercial success. The film reignited nostalgia while introducing a new generation to the story.
Adding to the buzz, director Anil Sharma had earlier revealed that Gadar 3 is already in the works. He shared in an interview last year that the script has been written and that the makers had intentionally ended Gadar 2 with a “to be continued” message. While he clarified that the third installment would take some time to go on floors, he reassured fans that it would not take another two decades. According to him, the story will focus on Tara Singh and his son Jeete, played by Utkarsh Sharma.
During the fan interaction, Ameesha also spoke about her favourite co-stars. She shared that Hrithik Roshan and Sunny Deol continue to hold a special place in her heart, while also acknowledging that she has enjoyed working with many talented actors throughout her career. Ameesha also expressed her interest in exploring the OTT space, stating that she would love to be part of a web series if the story and script truly excite her.
