For years, Bollywood has been buzzing with one gossip – that Salman Khan and director Anees Bazmee had a big fight during the shooting of Ready. Even though both of them have moved on long ago, this rumour never ended. Now, the director himself has finally spoken the truth.

In a latest interview, Anees Bazmee has completely denied all the rumours of a clash with Salman Khan on the sets of 2011 superhit film Ready. He said there was never any argument between them.
He recalled what used to happen whenever they met after the rumour started. He said that they both used to laugh about it. He shared that Salman would jokingly ask him when exactly did they fight. He said that Salman is not the kind of person who gives too much clarification about rumours and he himself is also the same. He said he has never felt the need to justify or clarify such things.
The filmmaker only had good things to say about Salman Khan. He said there was never any reason for a disagreement between them because Salman is such a lovely person. He said if he had to give him a new name, he would call him Dil Khan because he is a very good human being. He said every moment spent with him is important. He added that it was just a rumour and people wanted something like that to happen but it never happened.

Anees Bazmee also said that he has a lot of affection for the superstar and that Salman Khan was superb in Ready, which is one of their most successful films together. Talking about Salman’s acting in the film, he said the scenes were written well and the way Salman worked was amazing. He said no one else could have played the character of Prem better than him. He said Salman looked very good and did a great job. He said his Prem was not innocent but naughty and his work, especially in the climax, was very good.
Salman Khan and Anees Bazmee have worked together for more than two decades. Apart from Ready and No Entry which Anees Bazmee directed, he also wrote the film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi starring Salman.
