Party stories don’t usually resurface years later and cause a stir but Orry’s latest confession has done exactly that. Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, has opened up about an old and rather awkward incident involving actress Sara Ali Khan and this time, he’s setting the record straight on who was really at fault.
Speaking to an entertainment portal, Orry shared that at a party, he and Sara were looking for a place to sit. They noticed a girl already sitting on a chair and according to Orry, it was Sara who pushed her off it so the two of them could take the seat.
Things got awkward soon after but not for Sara Ali Khan. Orry says the girl who lost her seat ended up confronting him, not Sara, even though he wasn’t the one responsible. He explained that this happened simply because Sara was extremely popular at that time, while he was still nobody in the public eye.
Looking back, Orry called it a funny memory now but he made sure to clarify that it was Sara Ali Khan who stirred up the whole situation and he was left carrying the blame for something he never actually did. He stressed that he ended up facing consequences for an act he had no part in.
This story comes at a time when Orry and Sara’s once-close friendship has clearly changed. The two were inseparable in the public eye for a while but their relationship has since become the subject of speculation, especially after some of Orry’s social media posts.
Back in January 2026, Orry posted an Instagram Reel (later deleted) that referred to three names — Sara, Amrita and Palak, as what he called the “3 worst names”. People quickly assumed he meant Sara Ali Khan, her mother Amrita Singh and actress Palak Tiwari. Following that post, Sara and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan unfollowed Orry on social media. Orry, on his part, claimed he had unfollowed them first.
This isn’t the first time Orry has spoken about tension within Sara Ali Khan’s family. He previously opened up about an incident involving Amrita Singh back in 2021, calling it one of the darkest periods of his life. He hasn’t revealed the full details of what happened but he’s said it was a turning point that affected his bond with Sara and her family. While Sara Ali Khan has mostly avoided commenting on the fall-out, Orry has continued sharing his version of events from their friendship.
Currently, Orry is busy taking on new challenges as a contestant on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, competing alongside a lineup of other celebrities.
