Assembly Elections Exit Poll Results Out. BJP Losing Out Against Congress?

Months before the 2019 general elections, the exit poll data for few states is out and it’s going to be a reason of worry for BJP. It was back in 2014 when BJP swept off Congress and had a strong win but this time it’s going to be really tough for them.

Early exit poll results by all the channels suggest that Congress is set to take the control back especially in Rajasthan. Also in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh, things are going to be really tough for the currently ruling party because Congress is providing tough competition.

Meanwhile, TRS is having a clear lead in Telangana and MNF in Mizoram while second strong being Congress.

Let’s have a look at the Exit Poll results of 5 states i.e. Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Chattisgarh and Telangana and see what’s the current scenario.

1. Rajasthan

Congress is clearly leading here. The Rajasthan Assembly has 200 seats and here’s how the distribution is going to be according to the current scenario.

According to India Today-Axis My India, Congress is going to get 119 to 141 seats while BJP seems like getting 55 to 72. Similarly, according to Republic TV-CVoter, Congress is looking for 129-145 and BJP for 52-68. As per Times Now-CNX, BJP will have 85 and Congress will have 105 sets. Jan Ki Baat suggests a tight race with 83-103 for BJP and 81-101 for Congress. ABP News suggests 83 for BJP and 101 for Congress.

2. Madhya Pradesh

India Today-Axis My India suggests 102-120 seats for BJP while 104-122 for Congress. Republic TV-CVoter suggests 90-106 for BJP and 110-126 for Congress. As per Times Now-CNX, BJP will lead with 126 seats and Congress will get 89. Jan Ki Baat suggests a distribution of 108-128 and 95-115 for BJP and Congress respectively while ABP suggests 94 and 126.

3. Chattisgarh

As per India Today-Axis My India, it will be 21-31 for BJP and 55-65 for Congress. Republic TV-CVoter suggests 35-43 for BJP and 40-50 for Congress. Times Now-CNX says BJP will be a winner with 46 seats and Congress will get 35.

Jan Ki Baat suggests 40-48 for BJP and 37-43 for Congress. ABP suggests 52 for BJP and 35 for Congress.

4. Telangana

Times Now-CNX says TRS will lead with 66 seats, Congress will get 37 and BJP mere 7. Jan Ki Baat suggests 50-65 for TRS, 38-52 for Congress and 4-7 for BJP. Republic TV says 48-60 for TRS, 47-59 for Congress and 5 for BJP.

5. Mizoram

In Mizoram, BJP is getting no seat as per Republic and Times Now. Congress and MNF will fight it out for 14-18 and 16-20 as per Republic. Times Now says Congress will get 16 seats and MNF 18.

Well, 2019 elections are really going to be interesting.
