The Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty enjoys a huge fan following as he is loved not just for his movies and acting skills but also for his love for fitness. Suniel Shetty made his debut in Bollywood in 1992 with movie “Balwaan” and soon audiences started liking him as an action hero but later on, he also tried his hands in comedy genre which was also liked by the public.

However, Suniel Shetty has been missing from Hindi films since 2017 when he was seen in Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer “A Gentleman”, though he has done some cameos, they were not proper roles.

Recently in an interview, Suniel Shetty says that it has been a long time, he did Rajinikanth starrer “Darbar”, “Pailwaan” and a Kannada movie in order to check whether he still remembers the craft or not and if he even has an audience. He further states that he definitely has an audience because the amount of love that he gets everywhere is just unbelievable.

Suniel Shetty added that even his son and daughter asked him as to why he stopped working in movies and in reply, he said that he got out because he made mistakes in the past, he had an audience but they were not in the mood to pay for the rubbish that he was serving them. Suniel Shetty went on to say that there were times when distributors refused to purchase his movies because they didn’t have any action scenes. In fact after watching the rushes of his films, they used to demand a couple of action scenes along with a rain dance sequence.

Last year, Suniel Shetty starred in a web show Dharavi Bank and as per reports, he will be seen in the third movie of the “Hera Pheri” franchise as well as Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer “Project K”.
