In the modern day times, almost each one of us indulges in online shopping as it is not just cost-effective but quite comfortable as well.
Online shopping gives us the freedom to buy things using our smartphones while sitting at home and the products also get delivered at our doorsteps within some days. However, there have been instances when people have received completely different products from what they had ordered.
In many cases, customers received a brick instead of an iPhone or any other phone which was ordered by them but in a recent incident, all the limits have been crossed as a couple from Bengaluru has received a live cobra in their Amazon parcel.
The couple had ordered an Xbox controller from the e-commerce giant Amazon but when they received the package, they found a cobra snake trying to crawl out of the box. Luckily for the couple, the snake got stuck in the packaging tape because of which it couldn’t come out.
When the delivery person came, he handed over the parcel to the couple rather than leaving outside and the couple was left in a shocked state as they saw a snake inside the box. The customer stated that they live in Sarjapur and they have recorded the whole incident and they have an eye-witness to the incident as well. However, the good thing was that the snake didn’t harm anyone.
When the customer contacted Amazon, the customer support put them on hold for 2 long hours and they had to deal with the situation on their own. The customer stated that they received the whole refund but what about the risk that they went through while dealing with the highly poisonous snake.
The customer added that it is clearly a breach of safety which is a result of negligence on the part of Amazon and the fault also lies in transportation and warehousing. The customer asked who is accountable for this incident and then they clearly stated that they haven’t got a satisfactory resolution.

In their response, Amazon customer support wrote, “We’re sorry to know about the inconvenience you’ve had with the Amazon order. We’d like to have this checked. Please share the required details here: https://amzn.to/3RvxarV, and our team will get back to you soon with an update.”
