Year by year Bollywood is churning out more films so it has become really difficult to find a date which is good as well as solo. There are hundreds of films releasing every year and only a handful of big dates which ensure crowd in cinemas.
In such situations, the clashes are inevitable and makers have no option left other than releasing the film along with someone else.
In 2017 too there were so many clashes between Bollywood films which clashed with each other hence cutting doing each other’s business.

1. Raees vs Kaabil
There was a huge hype around this clash as it was the 1st and one of the hottest clashes of 2017.
Though both films worked well at Box Office, the business was less than they would’ve done if released solo.
Raees earned 137.51 crores net at Box Office and Kaabil earned 103.84 crores net.
2. Meri Pyaari Bindu vs Sarkar 3
Both films proved to be Box Office disasters.
Meri Pyaari Bindu collected 9.59 crores net while Sarkar 3 earned 9.93 crores net.
3. Half Girlfriend vs Hindi Medium
Half Girlfriend started on a better note as it had better star value but a great content finally made the way for Hindi Medium and it did really well from there on.
Half Girlfriend collected 60.30 crores net and Hindi Medium earned 69.59 crores net.
4. Baadshaho vs Shubh Mangal Saavdhan
Baadshaho earned 78.1 crores net and was an average grosser while Shubh Mangal Savdhan which was a small film collected 43.11 crores net and proved to be a Hit.
5. Simran vs Lucknow Central
Both films didn’t do well at Box Office and failed miserably. Simran earned 17.26 crores net and Lucknow Central earned 11.20 crores net.
6. Newton vs Bhoomi vs Haseena Parkar
Newton performed exceedingly well all thanks to the strong public reports and reviews while other two films flopped badly.
Newton earned 22.80 crores net despite being a film of very small scale. Bhoomi earned 10.63 crores net and Haseena Parkar collected 8.03 crores net.
7. Golmaal Again vs Secret Superstar
Both the films were appreciated by audience but performed as per their scale.
Golmaal Again went on to be a 200 crores grosser and earned 205.67 crores net at Box Office. Secret Superstar earned 63.40 crores net.
