That 2017 has not been a good year for Bollywood is known to everyone. There were many big films from big stars that failed and left the producers, distributors and exhibitors in a terrible situation. However, there were some small films by small stars that provided relief and worked as a balm on the injuries of industry.
But it’s not like all the big films failed at Box Office this year. There were some big films which worked and did wonders at Box Office. Golmaal Again scored more than 200 crores. Tiger Zinda Hai is running towards 300 crores mark and there were several 100 crore grossers as well.
So, it won’t be wrong to say that 2017 was a mixed bag for the industry where we had a lot of failures and some successful films too. Big stars gave big failures but they neutralized it with successful films too. The thirst to see them breaking records was not satisfied though. At the same time small stars emerged heroes and surprised us with Box Office Hits.

So, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan & Hrithik Roshan have had a lucky 2017. Akshay and Varun gave us 2 movies each and both were hits. Hrithik gave just 1 and that was hit too. On the other hand, it has been a bad year for Shahid Kapoor, Nawzuddin Siddiqui and Tiger Shroff, as their movie releases this year didn’t touch hearts of the audience and got a thumbs down.What are your thoughts on it?
