Avengers: Infinity War is carrying mammoth hype among fans at this moment. A trailer was revealed some days back on YouTube and received great response from the audience.
There have been rumours for a long time that one or more characters from the Marvel figures will be killed in the upcoming Infinity War or the second part i.e Untitled yet. Now we hear that it will be none other than Chris Evans who plays Captain America.
Reportedly, Chris Evans had a 6 film contract with Marvel Studios which was extended to 7 when they decided to make Infinity War in two parts. Now that the contract is coming towards the end, it is being said that the character of Captain America will be simply killed.
Chris Evans himself has confirmed that his contract will end and he has no plans to comeback by renewing it. Talking to NYTimes, he said-
“You want to get off the train before they push you off.”
Though the contract end of Chris Evans doesn’t necessarily mean the death of Captain America, this is something that is being highly speculated.
Further, the director duo of the films Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, The Russo Brothers and the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige have warned the fans regarding a heartbreak.
However, talking to an Entertainment Weekly, Kevin Feige confirmed that they are not talking about the death –
The notion of an ending, the notion of a finale, became very intriguing to us, in large part because you don’t see it that often in this particular genre.
People always will jump to ‘death’. That’s not necessarily what we’re talking about. I talk a lot, because I’m a big-a** nerd, about Star Trek: The Next Generation, All Good Things.
That to me is one of the best series finales ever. That wasn’t about death. Picard went and played poker with the crew, something he should have done a long time ago, right?
I mean, I could always list off the characters that we’ve killed in our movies that haven’t come back, but the big ones, which I know they’re looking at…?
I would just say, yes. People need to be careful what they wish for.
Meanwhile, fans are heartbroken on Twitter. Here’s what they tweeted-

Sorry #MCU fans but Captain America won’t take a break from being a saving the planet just because @ChrisEvans wants to do other things so be prepared for him being killed off. Sadly this is why comics will always be better than movies, those hero’s aren’t under contract.
