Commentator Takes Adult Star Dani Daniels’ Name During PAKvsNZ, Dani Daniels Reacts

The Pakistani cricket team is going through a tough phase for some time now as it lost the test series to Australia by 1-0, got whitewashed in the 3-match test series against England and now it is struggling against New Zealand in the second test match of the 2-match series which is being played at National Stadium, Karachi.

By the time this article was written, on the 5^th day of the game, the Pakistan team’s score was 134/5 (41 overs) with Sarfaraz Ahmed (39) and Saud Shakeel (16) on the crease, as the visitors gave them the target of 319 to win the match. While Pakistan needs to score 184 runs in around 51 overs, the Kiwis have to dismiss five wickets in order to win the series by 1-0 as the first test match got ended in a draw.

The toss was won by the Kiwis and they put up a score of 449 on the score board in the first innings after batting first and the highest scorer for New Zealand was Devon Conway who played a brilliant knock of 122 runs. In response, Pakistan posted a total of 408 on the score board as Saud Shakeel played a superb knock of 125 runs not out. In the second innings, New Zealand declared its innings as 277/5 and gave a target of 319 runs to the hosts.

However, the test match is also making headlines because of the goof-up which has been made by the former Pakistani cricketer Bazid Khan who is working as a commentator during this test match. While commentating during the first innings of New Zealand when Matt Henry and Ajaz Patel stitched a partnership of 104 runs for the 10^th wicket, Bazid Khan recalled the 10^th wicket partnership of 151 runs between former Kiwi cricketers BF Hastings and Richard Collinge in 1973 but mistakenly, he thought that the former Kiwi cricketer Danny Morrison (he is also commentating in this test match) was a part of that partnership and while recalling his name, Bazid Khan took the name of Dani Daniels.
