Secret Superstar, the Zaira Wasim and Aamir Khan starrer has started off really slow at the Box Office. Since it’s an Aamir Khan film, people had big expectations from it but sadly, it didn’t meet any.
Even the occupancy rate was very low i.e. just 30%; as per reports even Golmaal Again had more occupancy than Secret Superstar. Evening and night shows were expected to improve but sadly, the response remained the same.
It was Lakshmi Pujan holiday yesterday, but the Aamir Khan starrer couldn’t garner enough collections.

This is very disappointing. On the opening day, the film collected just 4.80 crores! Guess people chose to enjoy the festival rather than going for the movie, which resulted in poor response.
Although audience and critics gave good reviews, the numbers were not at all as expected. From the 2nd day onwards, Secret Superstar has a stiff competition i.e. Golmaal Again. People who wish to enjoy light hearted film will opt for the Ajay Devgn starrer. On the other hand, people who are big fans of Aamir Khan will prefer Secret Superstar.
