In regard to Bollywood, Kajal Aggarwal says that undoubtedly Hindi is her mother-tongue and she has grown up watching Hindi films but for her, the eco-system, ethics, discipline and values of the southern cinema hold a lot of importance and it is something which Bollywood lacks.

In response to the question that in which industry she will like to return after having the baby, she says that she is born and grown up in Bombay but she started her career in Hyderabad (Telugu cinema) and has mainly worked in Telugu and Tamil movies. She further says that she may have worked in few Hindi movies but she gets the feeling of home from Hyderabad and Chennai which will never go.
