The Indian athletes Manu Bhaker and Neeraj Chopra have made the country proud by winning medals at the recently concluded Paris Olympics 2024, while Manu Bhaker won two Bronze medals in shooting, Neeraj Chopra won a Silver medal in javelin throw.
However, presently both the athletes are getting attention because of a video which was shot during the Paris Olympics. In this video, Manu Bhaker’s mother Sumedha Bhaker is seen holding the hand of Neerja Chopra while having a chat with him.
After this video, many people felt that Manu and Neeraj have some off-the-field connection as well. However, Manu Bhaker’s father Ram Kishan Bhaker made no delay in clearing the air by saying that their daughter is very young, she is not of marriageable age and they are not thinking of her marriage as of now. Ram Kishan Bhaker also added that his wife Sumedha considers Neeraj as her son.
Now during an interview Manu Bhaker also spoke on this matter and she made it clear that she doesn’t meet Neeraj much, they just meet during the events. Talking about the video, she said, “I don’t know much about it. I was not there when this happened. But since 2018 we have been meeting on the sidelines of events. We don’t have that much interaction otherwise. During events, we talk a little. But there is no truth to the rumours that are going around.”
