After claiming to have launched satellites in space along with nuclear weapons, now North Korea boasts of a newly-developed anti-tank weapon which has the power of turning heavily armored enemy tanks to boiled pumpkin.
Kim Jong-Un, the leader had watched the tests of this laser-guided and portable rocket and declared it as having accuracy as a sniper’s rifle and being the longest firing range in this world.
He also stated that special cars and armored tanks of enemies boasting of striking power and high maneuverability are as good as a boiling pumpkin in front of this weapon.
Kim ordered for the mass production of this weapon at the earliest and also told that it should be deployed to coastal defense and front line units. North Korea has 1.2 million active troops, which is double the size of South Korea’s armed forces. However, most of the weapons of North Korea are outdated and military is hampered by the chronic fuel shortages of the state.
There is a likelihood of these shortages worsening especially when the country is facing new sanctions from United Nations with regards to long-range rocket launch and nuclear test conducted by Pyongyang earlier this year.
A sanction from the UN Security Council includes ban on aviation fuel supply to North Korea.
