Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man gained decent hype at Box Office before its release. The film is doing good business thanks to the positive reviews and great word of mouth it has received from the public. The issue that the film addresses has been received well by audience. Apart from the celebrities, even normal people are talking about the menstrual hygiene.
But on the contrary, Pakistan has banned the film stating that it is against our culture and tradition.
FCB member Ishaq Ahmed said-
“We can’t allow our film distributors to import films which are against our traditions and culture.”
The decision has not just received the criticism in India but also in Pakistan. Pakistani audience which understands the cause and the message that film talks about have come out openly in support of it. Banning PadMan in Pakistan is another one of those illogical things that simply affect the business of cinemas in Pakistan.

Just a few hours back, Govt Of Pakistan’s official Twitter account posted a tweet regarding the film and claimed thet Censor Board is yet to take a decision on the release of film.
The decision to issue an NOC by the Ministry of Information Broadcasting National History and Literary Heritage is yet to be taken on the release of a foreign feature film “Padman” as the film has not yet been pre-viewed by the Central Board of Film Censors.
