People Threw Chairs, Towels, Bottles at Yogi Adityanath During Employment Fair

An employment fair had been organized and held at Ghazipur by the Ministry Of Skill Development Under the Government Of Uttar Pradesh, yet things clearly did not go according to plan.

The meeting was supposed to be graced by CM Yogi Adityanath, as mentioned in the official tweet:

However, when the meeting had just begun, some youths created a disruption and a ruckus followed at the event. People began throwing chairs, handkerchiefs and anything else they could find at the CM.

In fact, videos and images that have been circulating on the internet also show that people were fighting amongst themselves, which had resulted in utter chaos and confusion.

In fact, the matter had escalated to such an extent that the CM had to be escorted out within 5 minutes of the event starting. It was extremely embarrassing for the UP government.

Union Minister Manoj Sinha had also attended the event, and according to him, the chaos was caused by certain anti social elements and that this had been their agenda from the very beginning.

The event had expected a turnout of around 5000 – 6000 people; however, more than 30,000 people had turned up. This had resulted in a delay in handing out registration forms and it is expected that this was the underlying cause of the ruckus.
