Raj Kundra has once again spoken about the p*rnography case that led to his arrest in 2021, maintaining that he has done nothing wrong and urging authorities to either clear his name or take action if he is found guilty.

The actor-businessman recalled how the case affected both his personal and professional life. He revealed that he and his wife, actress Shilpa Shetty, decided to shut down several of their businesses during that difficult period. According to Raj Kundra, their ventures included investments in Rajasthan Royals, Mixed Martial Arts, a home shopping business, and Viaan Industries, a technology company named after their son. He claimed that nearly 4,000 people were employed through these businesses before they were closed.
Raj Kundra said he was arrested in 2021 despite believing he had committed no offence. He stated that he had only been called to record a statement but was instead taken into custody. He also said it was painful to see years of work in India’s startup ecosystem coming to an end because of the allegations.
Reiterating his innocence, Raj Kundra said he is willing to accept any punishment if proven guilty. However, he urged investigators to officially clear him if no wrongdoing is established, adding that he has been fighting the case for the past five years and remains confident that he has not committed any crime.
Looking back at the 63 days he spent in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail, Raj Kundra described it as the most difficult period of his life. He said the experience changed him as a person and helped him understand who truly stood by him during his toughest times.
Raj Kundra was arrested in July 2021 in connection with allegations related to the creation and uploading of p*rnographic films through mobile applications. He was granted bail after spending nearly two months in jail.

In 2022, Raj Kundra also approached the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), claiming that he was innocent. He alleged that the case was the result of a personal vendetta by a businessman working with police officers and requested the CBI to investigate the matter. He further claimed that senior officers of the Mumbai Crime Branch had falsely implicated him in the case.
The investigation is still ongoing, while Raj Kundra continues to deny all the allegations and fight the case through legal channels.
