Samsung is one such company which always keeps trolling Apple for some reason or the other. The brand doesn’t leave out even a single opportunity to troll iPhones or point out its disadvantages.
Earlier, even Microsoft used to troll Apple left and right but now it has stopped. Yesterday, Samsung took a dig at OnePlus 6 by replying to its tag line “The speed you need”. After OnePlus6, Samsung has trolled iPhone 6 in its newly released ad.
Even few months back, Samsung had trolled iPhones and had shown that Galaxy Note 8 is the best phone with convenient features. Once again it is back with yet another ad.
In this new ad, the woman faces many problems due to her “Slow” iPhone 6. On the other hand, people having Samsung S9 face no delay whatsoever in getting their works done. For instance, the ad shows how Google Maps can be accessed faster on Samsung Galaxy phones than on iPhones.
At the end, the woman goes to Apple store for complaining about the iPhone 6. The executive tells her that the performance management needs to be turned off. This is a direct potshot at iPhone 6’s battery slowing issue.
After all such issues, the woman ends up upgrading to Galaxy S9. So basically, the crystal clear message in the ad is “Upgrade to Galaxy”. Samsung is indirectly telling users to change their iPhone 6 to Galaxy S9 rather than opting for iPhone 8 or iPhone X.
This is indeed a smart ad and is targeted to users who are trying to upgrade their iPhone 6 to latest models of iPhones. Samsung highlights the fact that it is always better to opt for Galaxy phones.
