The coronavirus pandemic affected the whole world in a very adverse manner; it brought not just all the economic activities to a halt but all the sports world to a standstill as well. The last time the Indian cricket team played cricket was on their New Zealand tour. Though they were supposed to play a 3 match ODI series against South Africa at home, the first match got spoiled due to rain and the series was called off because of COVID-19.
Despite being sitting at home for more than 3 months now, the Indian cricketers have ensured that they remain fit by working out at their homes. Some of the Indian cricketers such as Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina, etc. have also shared their videos of fitness regime in order to let their fans know how they are passing their time while being locked inside homes.
Recently, Indian cricketer Mayank Agarwal shared a photo of himself on his official Instagram handle in which he is seen working out while hanging upside down.
He wrote the caption, “On a scale of 1 to 10, the head rush I get when I’m trying to explore the ‘Upside Down’ is ELEVEN”.

While some of his fans loved the photo, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli didn’t miss the chance of trolling his teammate as he commented, “Kya ho gaya bhai (What happened bro)? Lockdown has reached unbearable limits I guess.”
Indian pacer Ishant Sharma also didn’t want to lag behind in making fun of Mayank Agarwal and he wrote, “Raje duniya ulti dikh rhi hai ya seedhi? (Is the world looking correct or upside down?)”
BCCI hasn’t given any notification regarding the start of cricketing activities in India, however there are reports as per which the IPL 2020 may be organized in the months of September-October. At one fell swoop, the board is also dallying with the idea of organizing the IPL in UAE or Sri Lanka as the number of coronavirus patients in India is still increasing.
