The Pakistani cricket team got a little relief as they managed to defeat Bangladesh in the match which was played yesterday at Eden Gardens but instead of celebrating their team’s win, the former Pakistani cricketers are busy slamming the Pakistan Cricket Board and its chief Zaka Ashraf.

It won’t be wrong to say that the anger of former Pak cricketers is justifiable as the PCB chief has done something which doesn’t suit a person who is sitting at such a high post.

If you remember, some time back, a WhatsApp screenshot from the private chat of Babar Azam went viral after it was shown by a Pak news channel. Babar Azam had this chat with PCB COO Salman Naseer and the channel got slammed so heavily that the Pakistani news anchor Waseem Badami who showed these screenshots on national TV had to apologise.

However, Waseem Badami also made a shocking revelation as he said that initially he and his team were not interested in showing the private chat of Babar Azam but then Zaka Ashraf not only sent him the screenshot but also told him to show it on his channel.

This act of Zaka Ashraf hasn’t gone well with the Pakistan cricket fraternity and recently the former Pak cricketer Shahid Afridi criticised Zaka Ashraf during a show and asked him to focus on his work rather than doing such things.

Shahid Afridi says that Zaka Ashraf is the chief of PCB and not of any random club and he must be having many things to look after but he feels surprised when he gets to know that Zaka Ashraf is making calls and sending messages to media in order to know who is speaking what about him. Shahid Afridi seems to be quite frustrated when he says that for God’s sake, Zaka Ashraf should focus on his work and not indulge in such things and behave like the PCB chairman.

Shahid Afridi further adds that people are talking about Zaka Ashraf because he is giving them a chance to do so, he is making statements at the time when the Pakistan cricket team is taking part in the World Cup. While concluding, Shahid Afridi urges Zaka Ashraf to work and deliver as the cricketers are having high hopes from him.
