Nepotism seems to have become a favourite topic of discussion in Bollywood at the present time and now the beautiful actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has also expressed her opinion on this matter.
Recently, Sonam attended Arbaaz Khan’s chat show “Pinch” where she was asked to respond to a tweet which was made by a troller. The tweet read, “10 years in the industry yet you don’t know how to act. Pathetic #nepotism.”
Sonam thanks the troller for following her and says that she has been working in Bollywood for the past 11 years now. According to her, either people have misunderstood the meaning of nepotism or they have been using it in this manner to make other people look bad.
She adds that it is thought that nepotism means being a relative of a certain person while in reality, it means to get a job or work through some connection.
She also talks about her father Anil Kapoor and says that he doesn’t come from a well-off family but he has worked very hard for the past 40 years and he has been doing all this for his children and family.
As per her, if she does not take advantage of his father’s work, it will be disrespectful towards his work as every person in this world works for his/her kids.
