Days after unfollowing RJ Mahvash on Instagram, the Indian cricketer shared a cryptic note on his Instagram Stories that quickly caught everyone’s attention. The timing of the post has only added fuel to ongoing rumours about an alleged fallout between the two.
On Monday, Yuzvendra Chahal posted a line inspired by the Bhagavad Gita that spoke about priorities and how people always find time for what truly matters to them. While the post did not name anyone, fans were quick to connect the message with the recent social media move involving Mahvash.
Yuzvendra Chahal wrote, “It’s never about time, it is always about priority. If it is your priority, you will make time for it.”
This wasn’t the first indirect message from the cricketer. Just a day earlier, Chahal had shared another spiritual thought, drawing from Lord Krishna’s advice to Arjun about choosing silence over constant explanations. The message suggested that not everyone deserves clarity and that sometimes it’s better to let people believe what they want.
The cricketer wrote, “Not everyone deserves your explanation. Sometimes it’s okay to be silent, let them assume that you are wrong.”
Earlier this month, Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash shocked fans by unfollowing each other on Instagram. Neither of them has explained why but the sudden move triggered widespread speculation online. Their equation has been under the scanner for a while, especially after Chahal’s divorce from choreographer Dhanashree Verma in 2025.
Rumours of a possible romance between Chahal and Mahvash had been doing the rounds for months. The two were frequently spotted together, which led many to believe their bond went beyond friendship. Despite the chatter, both Chahal and Mahvash consistently maintained that they were just good friends.
Yuzvendra Chahal had earlier addressed the dating rumours on a podcast, where he dismissed the speculation and said people were free to assume whatever they liked. He also shared how difficult the situation became for Mahvash, revealing that she faced harsh online criticism and was unfairly labelled because of baseless assumptions. Chahal admitted that seeing her go through that made him feel extremely uncomfortable.
