Indian cricket star Virat Kohli is known for his passion on the field, but this time, it was a film that left him completely impressed. After watching Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Kohli shared a strong reaction, praising both director Aditya Dhar and actor Ranveer Singh for their work.

Taking to Instagram on Monday night, Virat Kohli wrote, “Saw the film today and dare I say that I’ve never ever seen a cinematic experience like this made in India. It brought out every kind of emotion to the surface and I didn’t flinch once for almost four hours,” showing how deeply the film affected him.
Here is Virat Kohli’s post:

The movie, backed by Jio Studios along with B62 Studios and directed by Aditya Dhar, has turned into a massive global success. Within just two weeks of its release, it has collected ₹1,501 crore worldwide, making it the highest grossing Indian film of all time in just 15 days.
Starring Ranveer Singh, the film has broken several records, including the biggest Hindi opening ever, highest first- and second-week collections, the largest opening weekend globally, and the fastest film to cross the ₹1,000 crore mark.
Internationally too, the film has performed exceptionally well. It earned ₹367 crore overseas in just two weeks, becoming the highest grossing Indian film in North America and the biggest Indian film ever in overseas markets within its opening week. Interestingly, it also crossed the lifetime overseas collection of its first part, Dhurandhar, within just 10 days.

Back home, the film has earned ₹1,134 crore gross, with a net collection of ₹961 crore, bringing it close to the rare ₹1,000 crore nett milestone, a feat achieved by only a few films like Dangal.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was recently seen playing against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday, April 7. Although he did not score big, his team Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured a comfortable 43-run victory. They will next face Rajasthan Royals on Friday in Guwahati.
