Aamir Khan has entered a new chapter in his personal life after marrying entrepreneur Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony held at his Mumbai home on July 5. The low-key wedding has generated plenty of interest, with many eager to know more about the woman who has been in the actor’s life for over the past two years.
At 61, this is Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was first married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002 and the former couple share two children – son Junaid and daughter Ira. In 2005, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao but they ended their marriage in 2021. Despite their separation, they continue to co-parent their son Azad.
Gauri Spratt, 47, was born in Bengaluru and has built a successful career as a salon entrepreneur and fashion stylist. She comes from a multicultural family, with her father Robert Spratt, being of Tamil-British heritage and her mother Rita Spratt, having Punjabi-Irish roots.
She studied at Blue Mountain School in Ooty before moving to London for higher education. According to her LinkedIn profile, she completed an FDA course in Fashion Styling and Photography at the University of the Arts London in 2004.
Gauri’s interest in the beauty industry began early, inspired by her mother, who owned a well-known beauty centre in Bengaluru. Before entering the salon business, she worked in garment design and fabric sourcing in Bengaluru. In 2007, she joined BBlunt as a co-owner and manager. She now manages a BBlunt salon in Mumbai and is also reported to be involved in creative consulting for Aamir Khan Productions.
Apart from her business achievements, Gauri has also made investments in the fashion industry. According to reports, her estimated net worth is believed to be between Rs 24 crore and Rs 40 crore.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt have reportedly been in a relationship for more than two years. The actor first introduced her to the media during the celebrations of his 60th birthday last year and their recent wedding has now made their relationship official.
