The war of words between Kangana Ranaut and Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das has intensified, with Saurav Das responding to the actor-MP’s criticism and questioning her political credibility. Saurav Das has now responded sharply after Kangana Ranaut called him “useless and unemployed” in a social media post.
According to a leading publication, Saurav Das reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s remarks by saying that even members of her own political party do not appear to take her seriously. He also claimed that many people from younger generations, including Gen Z and Gen Alpha, do not pay much attention to her opinions.
Referring to an earlier interview in which Kangana Ranaut spoke about adjusting to her responsibilities as a first-time Member of Parliament from Himachal Pradesh, Saurav Das questioned her commitment to politics. He suggested that her own comments reflected how seriously she viewed her parliamentary role.
Saurav Das also responded to Kangana Ranaut’s criticism of younger generations, arguing that many young people have made meaningful contributions to the country and have played an important role in strengthening public faith in democracy.
He further objected to the language used by Kangana Ranaut in her recent Instagram posts targeting the CJP. According to Saurav Das, public representatives should choose their words carefully and uphold the dignity expected from those holding political office.
Earlier this week, Kangana Ranaut shared a lengthy Instagram Story in which she criticised Saurav Das. She questioned how the 28-year-old describes himself as a student and defended her own career and achievements.
Kangana Ranaut said she has been in politics for the past two years but has spent around 20 years in public life. She highlighted that by the age of 28, she had already won two National Awards and was managing multiple responsibilities as a filmmaker, performing artist, producer, screenwriter, entrepreneur and now a parliamentarian.
She also claimed that Saurav Das would not understand the demands of a successful public career because, in her view, he lacked professional accomplishments. Kangana Ranaut called him “useless” and suggested that he focus on learning a skill instead of making personal attacks.
