So I grew up watching horror shows like Aahat, Sshhh Koi Hai etc. These shows used to scare the hell out of me, so much so that I feared to go inside loo at midnight. But at the same time, there was something inside me that used to get entertained by that fear. I used to wonder about the moment if some night even I have a faceoff with a Bhoot.
A childhood friend of mine also used to have the same feeling. One day me, her and all the mates while having our tuition classes took the Maths book out of our bag, placed our finger on it jointly and starting speaking the chant (we seriously believed that in this way we’ll be able to attract the spirits but because we are so innocent children they won’t harm us). What happened next? The God was in the mood of having fun with us. LOL.
Something happened, the sky cleared up suddenly, the wind started blowing and all the doors started smashing up with the walls. The moment it happened we all got shit scared and the spirit calling chant soon converted into “Satnam Waheguru”, “Baba Ji please send them back”. LOL!
Well, now I remember this moment and laugh at myself. But I know one thing that I’ll never ever try to call the spirits because they are not my friend whom I’ll call and send as per my own wish.
Thankfully, I didn’t know the real tricks at that time and I tried a wrong one. But in case you get a kick out of all these things, below are the 10 ways to call the spirits in real life

1. Use an Ouija Board to interact with spirits
Ouija Board has all the alphabets, numbers and words “Yes” or “No” carved on it. You can use them to interact with spirits.
2. Planchette
Another way which is quite popular to communicate with spirits. Its use helps the seeker produce mysteriously written messages that are probably from spirits.
3. Crystal Ball
You might have seen this in several movies. Most of the times, a ghost expert uses a specially formed Crystal Ball to see and communicate with the spirits.
4. Use of a particular chant to call the spirit
To call the spirit of a dead person, sit at a place, think of them and simply read this chant-
Spirit show yourself, spirit reveal, spirit come to me so I know you are real! ”
5. Summon a vampire or werewolf
Sit in a quiet place and keep a paper, pencil, salt and lavender with you.
Take the paper. Draw a spiral and an X through it. Sprinkle some salt around the circle and burn the lavender. Now chant-
“I summon you, a (vampire/werewolf) to this room! I command you stay in my circle of safety. I summon you so I may ask you for my purposes. So more be!”.
6. Chant for a storm
You need a pan with half a litre of water and gas stove for it. Keep the water on stove and boil it. Now you have to chant-
“water boil, water cling, to the dust, as I sing, not just here, but everywhere, just like this, at which I stare”.
Read this chant 3 times and each time release some of the dust. Keep the speed normal. Don’t do this too quickly or too slow.
7. Summon a Grim Reaper
To call a Grim Reaper, you need 20 candles. Arrange these candles in a circle and light them in clockwise direction. Now speak this chant-
“Grim Reaper,Grim Reaper I summon you Grim Reaper, be my servant be my friend may it be cast as this spell is made”.
It is expected to appear in a few days from the moment while you sleep.
8. Summon a Bloody Mary
Take 2 Red candles into the bathroom. Keep 1 red candle on the left and 1 in right of the sink and turn off the light.
Now turn on the tap water and start chanting-
“Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary”. I’m hoping the I get the drink and not the spirit that tells the future.
9. Chant to call a lost sister
Spell this chant in a deep night –
“Power of the sisters rise, Course unseen across the skies, come to us who call you near, come to us and settle here, blood to blood, I summon thee, blood to blood, return to me”.
10. Attract vapour monsters
In a full moon night, go outside your home. Depending on your surroundings, think about the monster you want to attract. No use this chant ten times-
“Gods and goddesss all, Summon up something, terrifying for me, by the power within. Mote It Be!”
